No Criminals In Politics

March 30, 2009 · Filed Under Politics · Comment

I got following information in a mail forward, where it shows about the initiative by TOI to eliminate criminals from contesting elections in India. So, do take part in the initiative and show that enough is enough and we won’t let criminals to run our country. Please take part in initiative and pass the word out as well.

————————————————————————————————

I just came across this initiative in TOI. The intention is to show
our interest in eliminating criminals from Politics. Think about it if
we can eliminate Criminals from Politics then our country will be
ridden of most of the problems (corruption, injustice… ).

It’s disheartening to hear that we are being ruled by laws laid by
these criminals. When our parents or well wishers come up with
suggestions we hesitate to follow but we live and follow the rules
laid by these criminals !!!!

Moreover it is very simple and hardly takes a few minutes to register
for this campaign, you just have to go to the site and give your name
and email id.
1. Go to http://www.lead.timesofindia.com/No_to_criminals.aspx
2. Go to No Criminals Section
3. Enter your name and email id

They expect the initiative to gather atleast a million votes however
when I voted it was at 17149. They have been advertising it in TOI
newspaper for quite a few days. If everyone of us spread the word then
it should be easily attainable.

Please do it as a favor to our great country.

All in all with the price and the features, A-Star seem promising. Regarding the sales, we just have to wait and watch as car market is down due to the Recession in the Auto Industry and sales are not brisk as it used to.

India Registers 4th Straight Win Against England In Bangalore - Captures Hero Cup

Indian cricket team is on a roll, 4 continuous wins in 4 matches and hence the Hero Cup is India’s. England improved there gameplay this time but they were no match for Indian team. There were some delays in match due to rain in Bangalore but all worked out well in the end.

India Wins And Takes 3-0 Lead In Hero Cup With England

India won 3rd match against England in the ongoing Hero Cup. Although India won by DL rule, a win is a win and India was declared winners as match was more in India hands. And more importantly I think this is the first time DL rule has been in favour of India, most of the matches in which DL rule applied India lost the match. So, this was a refreshing change.

One more win out of the 3 remaining matches and we have the series :-).

IndiaN Cricket team is on the roll, awesome batting awesome bowling and awesome wins. I thought after 20-20 i will never will be able to enjoy the one day matches again. But this series with England is treat to watch and my interest in 50 over cricket is coming back :-) . And yes who can forget Yuvraj Singh, 2 fantastic centuries in 2 matches, and wickets as well. He is on a roll, so is Indian team.

Best if luck for all the matches, hope we win the series 6-0 :-)

Great news fellow Indians, Chandrayaan-1’s Moon Impact Probe (MIP) has safely landed on Moon Surface, with the Tricolour painted on it. This idea of sending MIP on the moon was put forward by former Indian president Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. And today ISRO scientists have achieved it.

What it means for us, well it is a very proud moment, India answer to the world that the days of tagging India as a developing country are over.
